PODERE MERLO to live an authentic experience
Podere Merlo is an ancient estate traced since the founding of the city of Parma.
After long decades of neglect, in 2004 we began an ambitious and careful conservative restoration of the entire building and park, which brought Podere Merlo back to life as it was in the past.
The result is a place with a charm out of time, which arouses emotions for its rustic and essential architecture, for the objects of the ancient daily life and for the spaces of the natural environment that surrounds it: a bridge between present and past telling endless life stories to all those wishing to listen.
In Podere Merlo you can live a unique experience, discovering the authentic Parmesan lifestyle made of proud culture, nostalgia for ancient splendor, refined tastes, sanguine passions and proudly ostentatious pleasures.

Our Rooms
We are pleased to offer our guests 2 double bedrooms (L’Antica Soffitta and La Camera delle Erbe Aromatic) and La Suite Novecento, with 3 beds.
Each room, with private bathroom, wifi connection, air conditioning and refined antique furniture, overlooks our park giving our guests the magical quiet of nature.

Over 500 trees among more than 100 different species: tall trees, spontaneous flowers, aromatic herbs, fruit trees and lawn almost as far as the eye can see, in 2 hectares of intense green.
This is our park.
